wanted to go on a haitus

then I realized I am already having one. HAHA. sorry for not blogging in such a long time. initially wanted to blog last saturday (because someone complained that i did not keep to my words(??) of blogging "once every two days" tsk) buT I KEPT GETTING DISTRACTED sighs so yes I shall settle down now and blog heh

anyways, tomorrow is day 180! the last day of June. which means one month closer to o'levels, and one month closer to freedom. HAHAHA. //trying to be optimistic. but what sucks is that tomorrow, day 180,  is also the first day of term 3. argh. like totally not excited?! although I am glad that I can finally get out of the house, but thinking about lessons and revisions and teachers and people is just a turn off. :-(

on the bright side, no more CCA yay! not exactly sure is that a good or bad thing, but I shall take it as a positive thing for now. will definitely miss CO yea, no doubt. but it's nice to be able to reach home early on wednesdays & fridays (but knowing my school, confirm have protected time/remedial/lectures until 5pm aka reach home at 8pm lol)

recently, my room underwent some revamp which include having my room divided into two to house my sister and her boyfriend lol was damn unhappy about it because my new space is so small I can't even breath please. ok that was kind of an exaggeration BUT IT'S TO EMPHASIZE ON MY UNHAPPINESS. HAHAHAAH. & what pisses me off the most was when I came home to find my things moved into some unknown location without my permission like hello??? it's damn rude??? lol??? but okay whatever I have learnt to build a bridge & get over it (more like I am still //trying to// get over it) haha

june was quite an eventful month to me, I guess. although I did not study at all, like legit not even kidding. HAHAHAHA so much for my study plan which I spend one day planning. hahaha. ok I can say I did emaths revision and bio notes, but it's those kind of revision which is not challenging my brain at all. technically, it just means I did not work/use my brain for one month. LOL.

really pump up for next month because it will be busy & I like busy scheldues I KNOW PEOPLE ARE LIKE JUDGING ME RN HAHA but having packed days just keeps my mind off everything. which makes m happy, for like, once? I don't like free time because I would just start over thinking and worry about non-existence problems which will make me feel x10325829 worse.

oh and I decided to stop using social media from 8pm to 11pm everyday. haha, hopefully I will adhere to it. & the holidays screw up my sleeping cycle so badly I need to spend some time to readjust it. sad. I will miss being able to wake up at 11am everyday :')

I AM SO FREAKING FRUSTRATED BC
1) school is reopening in 2 weeks time = more tests more pressure more workload
2) all i ever did for the past 2 weeks was to sleep. record was sleeping for 14 hours straight
3) homework undone revision untouched?
4) zero motivation to study despite olevels drawing near ahahahaha... ha. haha
5) i feel sleepy 25/7
6) whenever i have enough sense to settle down in front of my study table to start doing something productive, it would already be 2am
7) no enough time to study liao lor
8) really can't see to focus no matter what, which is really driving me nuts. words can't describe how screwed i really am bc this holiday was meant for ME to be PRODUCTIVE & for me to catch up on all my school work but it ended up being a time where i just laze around like some cow eating grass (idek what is this meant to describe)
9) daily schedules include: sleep late -> wake up late -> tired -> can't start work -> procrastinate until late at night -> can't sleep bc worry abt hw -> sleep late -> cycle repeats
10) the fact that only 2 weeks remain yet i have no drive to start revising all the subjects or maybe even to start on my homework is really stressing me out

add number 11 to the list:
my sis bf moving in = sharing room with me & my sis = need to rearrange my whole room. zz like what the heck i hate it when people touch/move my stuff & i took a long time to finish reorganizing my whole room (drawers, shelves, etc) & now i need to shift all these things again?! the thing is he intitally didn't even wanted to move in l but my mum kept asking my sis to ask him for idk what retarded reason which somemore concern me? bc i share room with my sis. so for the past week, my mum has been convincing me to give up my room like hell no man. it's my bed you're talking about , it's my things you're talking about. & it's my o'levels you are talking about. i mean, i have absolutely no issues with him moving in as long as i am not dragged into the whole need-to-find-a-room shit but once it involves my things & me having to settle
else somewhere just bc of some stupidd reason that my mum have, then no way man. another reason why my room would be off-limit is bc the whole "resettlement" (me moving out, him moving in) thing would take place during august & it's my prelim. it's an exam i do not wish to screw up again. i almost screwed up my PSLE bc my family was going through tough times during 2010 but i have totally no interest in screwing up my olevels  i know to others they might think i am downright selfish? but i honestly do not think in any way should i give up my own space (& my own studying corner/bed??) just so others can be in comfort. is like i gave in so much all of the damn time that i do not even have a say or even an opinion in these things anymore.

ok feels so good to rant out what has been bothering me for the past week :D

okay whatever. HELLO. HEHE. I know I haven't been blogging for the past week because I had been busy ... going out. :P

Actually aimed to finish my homework by this week, but at the rate I am progressing, I don't think it's going to work out. AHAHAHA. I think it's really time for me to settle down & get my priorities right. Less than a year to o'levels omg? Quite thankful that I feel a little stress right now because it means that at least I would be worried & this would force myself to study. LOL. Looking back on this year, I realized quite a lot of things have happened despite it being a mere 6 months. :O I think I have grown quite a lot haha in terms of my maturity level & my ability to handle things. *pats myself on the back* But there's still a lot of things for me to improve on though, such as being more committed to my studies & managing my emotions better.

On a lighter tone; this week was wonderful!! :D Monday was the ultimate stay-at-home-&-nua day hehe. Then from Tuesday onwards, there's extension week. :-( Was really reluctant to head back to school after having a fun-filled day on Sunday but urgh life.

Watched Maleficent with Germaine on Tuesday HAHA. Before that we had Popeyes with Jolene :-) The movie date was kind of impromptu because it basically was

uh yez that's it. We were both so excited to watch the show that we kept squealing/laughing at everthing (.. I think it was only me) before the movie even start. The movie was really nice!! Rushed home after that & this concludes my day haha.

Oh btw, had maths olympaid on Tuesday which was like amaths paper WITHOUT THE USE OF CALCULATOR whoosh swear I really didn't expect it to me

Went back to CO on Wednesday! Partly was because I wanted to take my erhu back (which in the end, I FORGOTTEN that my purpose of going CO was to take it back -_-) & partly was because Sabrina had to pass me something.

But actually she planned to surprise me but .. I kind of ruined my own surprise because I walked in on her & Enqi preparing my card. LOL. Kk rewind back a bit. I was at the percussion area rubbing my eyes WHEN SUDDENLY MY RIGHT EYE DAMN PAIN LIKE THOSE SHARP PAIN then obviously I had to go to the toilet to use the mirror so I walked out & .. I saw a cake on the floor.

Then Sabrina suddenly realized I saw the cake then she just started going "shit shit" but I didn't actually replied her because my eye was stinging so yes AHAHAHA. went to the toilet & my contact lens dropped out ON THE DAY I FORGOTTEN TO CARRY MY SPECS WITH ME??///?/?? so I was basically half-blinded zz. Went back to CO room etc etc & during break Sabrina just came up to me & said like: "aiya since you alr know we surprising you YOU SET UP YOUR OWN CAKE LA" wah best junior award ikr AHAHAHA. but quite thankful actually bc I didn't expect them (sabrina, cherhsien, idk???) to buy me a cake. :-) & then my other juniors came up to hobo the cake lollllzzz ok moving on, I was in the CO room when suddenly something falls out of my eye & upon closer inspection it was like this small piece of contact lens which was still stuck in my eye & thank god it did dropped out if not I might have been really blind LOL.

IDK WHAT ELSE TO SAY ABOUT WEDNESDAY BECAUSE I WENT HOME & SLEPT TILL THE NEXT MORNING LOL

Uh nothing exciting happened that day, except that I went to macs with Carissa & Celine. Been such a long long time since the 3 of us last ate out. The last time the three of us eat together was like what? Last year?? Haha.

Earlier on that day, Carissa & Ziminn were throwing lettuce on each other in the canteen & somehow me & Celine became involved. LOL. It was freaking hilarious omg practically died of laughter.

Friday!! Which was yesterday!! Really very happy because I had a belated birthday celebration in the canteen. HAHAHA. My class was released early for recess LIKE FINALLY but thanks to Carissa who said hi to chen lao shi which cause her having to carry this stack of worksheets all the way up to third level AND WE HAD TO WAIT FOR HER and also Celine who kept going to the toilet/tying her shoelaces that by the time we reached the canteen, it was already 11:10. Joyin suddenly came up to us & dragged Ziminn aside & told her something. Then idk what happened etc etc I wandered off & I saw Heiman who pulled me away & Ziminn came also then amidst the whole confusion I saw a bunch of my friends preparing this cake then I just "oh ok" SO I RUINED MY OWN SURPRISE. AGAIN. TWICE. ZZ. LOL. whatever but ya
sang the birthday song & ate the cake & yes very happy lor haha. It was like my first time having a celebration in the canteen haha! Throughout the years I am always seeing people celebrate their birthdays in the canteen & yesterday was finally my turn HAHAHA.

Had lectures after recess which consist of my friends pointing out to every guy that walked past me as "shuqin's boyfriend number __" LOL. SO DURING SS LECTURE I MADE A BET WITH CELINE THAT I AM NOT GOING TO TALK TO ANY GUYS & she took my textbooks & threw them to shaokiat in a bid to make me talk to guys so she can win. k. ok. okay. k but I took my revenge by stuffing papers down her shirt yay for me thanks!!1111!!11!

Out with LYCO after school :D (with the exception of Annabel bc it was Shin's birthday :-( ) Went to watch Blended & it was honestly nicer than I thought it would be. Was really funny ok kept laughing throughout the whole movie AHAHAHA. Then camwhored outside Marina Square. There was this moment where PuiTing pointed to this big sign & she was like: "eh!! let's take photos there!" probably because the space in front of the sign was huge & spacious but .. there was something else though, JiaYing said: "OMG PUITING WHY? U WANT TAKE PHOTO INFRONT OF THE GREAT SINGAPORE SALES SIGN AH?" couldn't stop laughing we all stood there laughing for almost 3 minutes after JiaYing said that because it was priceless. Shall upload the photos in the next post! (yes I took photo of that sign haha) Oh & they brought me this giant(??) rabbit hehehe. Not really giant la but quite big!! Contented with the present although it was like 5 days late. HAHAHA. I THINK I AM EASILY CONTENTED. LOL. BUT WHATEVER.

OKAY SO THIS SUMS UP MY WEEK. Looking forward to another exciting week .. filled with revisions ahahaha nvm shall just study hard now & play hard after o'levels. :-) HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!

so it was my birthday yesterday yay!! had a very great & lovely time haha thanks to everyone who took time(??) off to wish me especially those who wished me at 12am on SMS/whatsapp/twitter. really touched. :D & thanks to huiru for dedicating an instagram post to me hehehehe this is the first time someone dedicated a post to me YAY TOUCHED

wanted to nap from 2pm to 3pm today ... but i slept till 6pm instead. so I guess tonight will be a sleep-is-for-the-weak-i-will-regret-this-tomorrow night for me again :-(

was out with fangying, huiru, & jiawei on Saturday!!! went to eighteen chef followed by teoheng & finally dessert at some shop in katong complex. originally, we planned to meet 3pm at paya lebar. time check: 1430, i was still at home finding my shoes. HAHAHA. but uh they changed the venue to somerset instead, so by the time I reached there, it was already 1540 HAHAHA. but hey not bad la considering that by the time I left house it was already 1440 :p hurried to eighteen che & we waited for a freaking??? 30mins??? for our food??? okay??? but oh well it was cheap so whatever.

by the time we were done eating, it was already like near to 5pm. & we booked a room in teoheng from 5-7 LOL. spent like 5mins debating whether a not to cab or just take train. stick with the second option in the end, bc aunties ok kidding hahaha reached teoheng at like 1740 LOL so we were only left with slightly more than 1 hour to sing blahblah

oh while we were waiting for the bus at payalebar, jiawei suddenly said: "eh shuqin, do you eat melted stuff" then I am like: "uh .. I guess so" AND SHE SHOVED A BDAE CAKE ONTO MY HANDS. HAHA. technically, it's more like a slice of bdae cake hahaha. & huiru passed me this very long message that she wrote on a card :')

halfway through, zihao came//???//, headed for dessert at the basement & everyone was teasing zihaothat he came for jiawei. it was damn funny omg, laughed till we cried. before that we had some photoshoot at the entrance NOT REALLY A PHOTOSHOOT BUT IT WAS EMBARRASSING (kind of??) HAHAHAHA.

reached home at around 10pm, was tired but had a great time :-) & it was my first time receiving clothes as my present so I didn't really know how to react, but was contENTED WITH THE SHADES THEY GOT ME THOUGH :D HAHA. BC IT'S PINK!! YAY.

ok fast foward to sunday, which was yesterday!! :-) HAD A VERY EXCITING TIME SPENDING MY BIRTHDAY WITH ...... 5 hours of tuition yea! but ok that's not the main point haha.

my chem tuition was from 12-2 at hougang, together with andrea & jiaying. so after it ended I was the first to walked out & I headed straight to the door. I expected andrea & jiaying to be behind me but no there was like still inside. then suddenly jiaying called out "eh shuqin!", so i just looked back & went "WHAT" before I continued walking out.

it was really damn epic bc germaine & joyin were actually waiting OUTSIDE my tuition room, waiting to surprise me but .. I didn't even notice them?? HAHAHA. THE WORST PART WAS WHEN JIAYING CALLED ME, I ACTUALLY LOOKED AT BOTH GERMAINE AND JOYIN BUT I TOOK NO NOTICE OF THEM. until when I looked back again, then I REALIZED THAT THEY WERE THERE. HAHAHA. was really really happy to see them, then joyin pointed to this stuff toy that they had place IN FRONT of the door, which I was so blind not to see. HAHAHA. I didn't even notice the stuff toy?? BUT I LIKE THE PRESENT ALOT BC IT WAS FROM CRAFTHOLIC OMG happy happy

joyin actually wanted to film my expression when i see them but all she got was .. me walking out of the door. HAHAHAHA. then went to some place in hougang mall to eat but i didn't managed to take any photo of the food bc we were all hungry heh but was touched that germaine & joyin came down all the way to hougang to surprise me :-)

had to rush off for amaths tuition wth sobs. honestly was quite sian bc who would fancy 3hours of amaths on their birthday?? so yea. sad. then after amaths tuition, i received a message from joyin asking me for my address bc germaine needed it as her mum wanted to know(??) i didn't sense that anything was amiss so i just message her back

after a while, celine called me asking for my address bc her mum ALSO NEED TO KNOW MY ADDRESS?? & at that point of time I got a bit suspicious bc why would their mum need to know my address???

after I hung up, celine messaged me telling me that she left her chem textbook in sch but she have chem tuition the next day (today) so she wanted to come my house to take it

wah damnit I think I am damn gullible? zz :-( reached home & entered my room, all i saw was a pile of balloons beside my sister's bed. THEN SUDDENLY THE BALLOONS STARTED MOVING OK I GOT A SHOCK WTS. & then carissa celine and ziminn jumped out at me & started singing Happy Birthday WAH I WAS DAMN SHOCK OH MY GOD & I CRIED. LOL. really damn grateful for them hahahaha. very very touched.

my mum was excitedly trying to capture everything on film, which she showed to carissa and ziminn afterwards but all she managed to capture was .. 2 seconds of us jumping around. HAHAHAHAHA.

uh so etc etc hobo-ed at my house for a while before heading to TM for dinner, carissa had to go home bc her sis cooked bibimbap LOL oh and hazel came to join us!!!! she made me this very cute bdae card haha called 16 things I love about you sweet right. anyways went to pastamania before going to the acarde & walk around for a while ((plus camwhore lewl)) then swarm into swensen for free icecream #cheapskate & while we were all feeling embarrassed, hazel was embarking on a self rant that for the past 16 years of her life, she didn't know swensen serve free icecream on each person's birthday HAHAHAHA.

by the time I got home, it was nearing 11pm haha. then celebrated with my family!!!! actually it was just eating the cake HAHAHA. but oh well whatever the cake was nice.

so yep had a lovely day celebrating with my friends/family. hahahaha, really thankful for everyone ;-) and to everyone that wish me!!!! REALLY GRATEFUL. ^_^ can't believe I am 16 already lol. I don't even feel 14. HAHA. extension week from tomorrow till Friday sobs. on the bright side, at least I get to skip 2 hours of lessons bc of maths olympiad.

but the thought of being back in school having normal lessons tomorrow really kill the mood. no seriously who likes being in a place where you just feel like a disappointment & you have to please everyone especially the stupid school with their stupid grooming rules & stupid grooming checks where you have to constantly worry for the whole time you are in the school with "oh my god is my skirt long enough" "oh my god is my hair neat enough" & every time the discipline comm walks past you just find yourself unknowingly checking for your grooming because you are afraid of being caught yes please tell how to enjoy schooling in this kind of state. LOL
